THE AMIGOS TUTORING METHOD
STEP #1:
EVALUATION
During the first session with Amigos, your student will take a 50-minute assessment exam, specific to their subject and grade level. Based on your student’s performance and their grades in school, we will provide a professional recommendation for a customized tutoring plan.
STEP #2:
REINFORCEMENT
Our tutors help students better understand the curriculum in their classes and will give your student strategies for completing their school assignments independently. At the end of each session, we complete a log to document the progress of your student and make them feel accomplished.
STEP #3:
COMMUNICATION
The Amigos team will schedule a monthly meeting with the student and their parents to discuss the progress and develop a new plan of action that will ensure that students are continuing to improve and are excited about returning to their tutoring sessions.
